January 15 [Hello! Project] Love ConfessionsHi, looks like the lack of fiction for the pairings I love has forced me to start writing again. This time I am going into the pop idol world and more specifically, Morning Musume and Berryz Kobo of the agency, Hello Project. Even though most if not all the members are mentioned, I focused on two couples; Fujimoto Miki & Tanaka Reina of Morning Musume Kumai Yurina & Sugaya Risako of Berryz Kobo Anyway, you can find out more on Wiki in case you don't know who these are, which would be a real shame really. So, without farther yammering, here you go.

Trailer: (Note: It is still processing so it might not show up for a while) Shinku [Japanese]LiveJournal Tags: yuri, shoujoai, les,レズキス,百合,レズ,shinku, deep red, mizukawa asami, uchiyama rina,水川あさみ,内山理名,真紅 AKA: The Battle For Horikita Maki-chan. Posters: Director: Tsukinoki Takashi Main Players: Uchiyama Rina as Older Akiba Kako Mizukawa Asami as Tsuzuki Miho Horikita Maki as Younger Akiba Kako The gist : Who ever said that dreams are just that - dreams, then they need to get a new meme. For, Not long ago, after I got to watch the "Locker [Shibuya Kaidan] " movies and the JDrama Seito Shokun, I had a dream. A couple in fact. I won't go into the details but SHINKU just made them come true. I will get in more detail about this later but first, what this is all about. I just couldn't help it but at the above scene, when young Kako tried suicide by getting hit by a bike, I was having major Joker/Batman flash backs in The Dark Knight when the Joker was baiting the Batman to run him over! Seven years ago, there happened a huge incident. A Family of four was brutally murdered but either be it luck or misfortune, the eldest child in the family, a daughter of 13years of age was away on a school trip so she survived. Akiba Kako was away with her classmates telling each other scary stories when a teacher came to announce to her the shocking news. On the way to the hospital, they received a call informing them that the hospitals had been changed, thus undeniably letting Kako know that there were no chance of any one being alive still. They are taken to the morgue where Kako looks on to her late family as they lie there lifeless. Seven years later, Kako is now a University student majoring in film and entertainment. The detective who was in charge of the murder comes to see her as he had been doing since she was 13 and informs her that the killer was to be sentenced in a week's time. The killer also has a daughter who is around Kako's age. Tsuzuki Miho now works in a club she owns and is already married to a scout agent. Kako decides to meet the daughter of the person that killed her family to see how different the two of them were so she asks the detective for info and goes on the search for Miho. Not long, Kako finds the club "Ice Storm" that Miho works at and the two have a fateful encounter. Kako knows who the other is but Miho has no clue. The next time Kako goes to Ice storm, she comes away with Miho's number and a promise for a date to the movies which goes as planned. They go out to dinner and start getting along really well but there are dark feelings hiding under both of their hearts though only Kako's are hinted at. I could feel the feelings flowing from the screen when watching this movie. The only surviving daughter of a family that was so brutally killed, meeting the daughter of the man that took everything away from you yet doing nothing but having drinks and going out to the movies! I seriously thought most of the times that "Okay, now Kako is gonna lose it and choke Miho to death" but it never happened. It turns out that Miho was resented by everyone for the crimes of her father as one would expect but even her supposed husband didn't marry her out of love. She was like a punching bag, sex toy, anything to amuse himself with but no more. Miho never fought back too thinking that she deserved it. That the two children among the family that was killed probably felt more pain than she did. So she would just lie there and take the beatings. Kako found out about this and by then having gotten closer, the two of them, Kako suggested for Miho to kill Mr Bad guy (Miho's Husband) Just before they set off to their perfectly planned murder, Kako has one her her fits that had been getting ever since the accident of her family. Anything that she did during that time, whenever something similar happened, she would fall into a break down and could understand what was happening but couldn't move a muscle and would appear as if she was sleeping but when she actually isn't. When that happened this time, she has a conversation in her mind with Miho and she understands that making Miho a killer too was the worst idea at the moment.
But by the time she regains her senses, miho has already left and when Kako meets up with her, Mr bad guy is already done for but we are lucky and Miho didn't hit so hard so he was still unconscious. Miho tries to finish him off but Kako stops her in time and begs her to stop the cycle of pain. Miho decides to leave and move somewhere else just in case Mr bad Guy decides to go for revenge or get back with her and so she leaves but not just like that. She leaves Kako with a kiss that her future dreams will be made of.
ZA ENDO!
Bah! I like Japan in that it has the idea of attempting something but always get chicken feet in the end. Where are my GOOD ENDS?! Why didn't Miho just stay with Kako?! Arg! Anyway, back to the dream thing, As I said, after I watched Seito Shokun in which Horikita Maki and Uchiyama Rina starred as the mains, I was so filled with great ideas after their subtext that I just couldn't stops the dreams from powering out! Times like these that I want to go back to FIC writing. And then, I watched the Locker movies in which Horikita Maki starred again but this time with Mizukawa Asami. And so, I was debating on who is most compatible with Maki-chan between Asami and Rina-san. \this movie was like the answer to my question. Not only having Asami and Rina in it as the mains but Maki herself getting in on it! What a way to make decisions easier. It also doesn't get any happier that these three are my MAIN THREE in the Top 20 Actresses list! Can you believe how I feel seeing Asami and Rina kissing?!! I still replay this kiss everyday just to make sure I ain't dreaming! Asami and Rina kissing is like...is like...I can't even compare it to anything else. And Rina's name has "Mountain" in it while Asami's has "Water/River" in it. Everyone knows about the Mountain/River story right?! Such a perfect cast for this movie! I don't think I shall ever be happy watching a movie as I was this one! A fic is definitely in the works. Only the BEST END can do better of this movie in a FIC. A kiss in 6D. A kiss that dreams are made of! I shall share it with you all in all it's 6 Dimensional glory! August 18 Hell Cats [Korean]AKA: I Like It Hot 뜨거운 것이 좋아 Director: Kwon Chil-In Year: 2008 The Players: Lee Mi-Suk, Kim Min-Hee, Ahn So-Hee, Kim Seong-Su, Kim Heung-Su and Kim Beom. Posters I just watched this movie no more than 5 to 6 hours ago and so, it gets to honour of being the first project to rumble on about. But before we begin, okay, I admit that this blog will have something in common with other blogs and that is - SPOILERS! So, if you don't want to get spoiled, I am so sorry but "It Is inevitable". - Agent Smith(Matrix). On with things then. The movie is basically centred around a family of three. The mother(Young-mi) who is a dance teacher/instructor, the mother's sister(A-mi) who is a writer, and the mother's daughter(Kang-ae), a young high school girl who also happens to have a part-time job at a cafe shop. Each one has their problems and through the movie, they are overcoming these problems and the most common to all three is LOVE. I won't go on and on about this since this isn't my objective. I am only interested in the daughter's story. She has a best friend(Mi-ran) with whom she shares classes at school and also works at the same cafe that she too works at. Just as all other school girls, these two talk about boys and stuff and in this case, we have a boy whom supposedly, Kang-ae has a crush on but they make fun of him saying that he's gay and stuff. The guy is quite a simpleton but a good guy and where it not for Kang's love for Mi-ran, I would've been okay with her ending up with him. Anyway, Mi-ran tries to teach Kang how to get her man AKA teaching her seduction lessons but they aren't going so well. One night, Kang gets the courage to invite 'nice guy' over to her house and probably score. Un known to him(and me too), Mi-ran is in the next room watching the progress - which doesn't go according to plan. Kang is frustrated so she sends Nice Guy away and lets Mi-ran know that she could come out. Mi-ran tries to cheer Kang-ae up by complimenting on her looks, perfume and femininity, innocently , but Kang-ae is no innocent, Mi-ran is so close to her she can feel her breath on her neck as Mi-ran smells for her perfume. She takes the drop and kisses Mi-ran right on the mouth as seen above. Reaction time. Totally logical. Totally realistic. no slapping going on though just two totally confused teenage girls! Next day at school is AKWARD and I was happy that they didn't skip this step like most movies. We get to see how they deal with the situation which is of course, logical too. The ball hitting Kang-ae on the head prompts Mi-ran to confront the subject for the two of them and lets it off as just another of their training. Kang-ae decides to go along with her as the best strategy and they go back to best friend laughs. And again in her innocence, Mi-ran is making Kang-ae uncomfortable by hugging her with her (really large) breasts. Things are back to normal but only for Mi-ran not poor Kang-ae as... She's having weird dreams about Mi-ran even during the day (They were in the Library). After this, Kang-ae starts to avoid Mi-ran even so far as not to show up at her job anymore. Having had enough of being ignored and not returning her calls, Mi-ran finally stops Kang-ae in the corridors as she exits the Home economics Class(cooking). She tells her that she is leaving for Brazil to visit her father who has fallen sick and gets on as well about why she is being ignored. Kang-ae is quiet and this angers Mi-ran. Kang-ae snaps back at her saying that she is not the one leaving and storms off in teary rage. After this, it is Mi-ran who doesn't show up anymore even at work, probably preparing to leave. Nice Guys visits Kang-ae at the shop one day and drops by a holder that Mi-ran left her - with a nice message and Kang-ae decides to head for the Airport to meet Mi-ran. Kang-ae tries to confess in Braz - I mean Portuguese but gets it wrong when she meets Mi-ran who was waiting for her flight but Mi-ran corrects her. Kang-ae begs Mi-ran to not leave for Brazil (Which really surprised me, usually it would be tears of farewell but really, this isn't Japan) and viola, enter kiss No.3. Mi-ran stays and they leave happily ever after. HAPPY END!
It's really great, no? More respect for Korea from me. And I simply loved the ED. |
